Message from the President
Fall 2024 President’s Newsletter
As we begin to wrap up our 55th year, this incredible foundation has continued to impact the lives of our youth through the generosity of our many members and supporters. Those contributions resulted in 26 scholarships given in 2024, each in the amount of $1000. Thanks to the continued support of our members, we have managed to continue our mission of assisting students with their higher education goals.
Our Board of Directors is looking forward to building on this accomplishment moving into 2025. The Foundation will be sending out donation request letters for the holiday season, that also offer opportunity as a contributing event towards membership. In addition, we’re happy to announce we will be holding our third annual Spring Dinner on April 4, 2025.
Through your giving, the South Side Scholarship Foundation continues to provide important benefits to many students. It’s with sincere appreciation that we say thank you to each of you for your continuing support, and we will see you in 2024 at our remaining fundraising events, and in 2025!
